What is Counselling?

In counselling, you can discuss your problems and worries with a skilled professional in a private, secure setting. You can better understand yourself and other people by exploring your ideas, feelings, and behaviours with the aid of your therapist.

A counsellor won't seek to advise you nor provide you with ideas. They will assist you in devising your own solutions, whether they involve making positive adjustments in your life or discovering out how to deal with your issues.

Getting Started

You probably want to give yourself the opportunity to make changes in your life if you're reading this. In order to talk about the issues that led you to seek counselling, you can book a 90 minute first consultation session where we can discuss your specific needs and you can find out more about what therapy with me entails. It gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have and to determine whether working with me would be the best option for you. Since this is the basis of the therapeutic process, it is important that we feel at ease with one another, therefore, this session will offer us both the chance to determine whether we could work well together and have a good relationship.
